It’s going to be warm, welcoming, and epic as we take AusMac2026 to Queensland’s sunny capital!

AusMac2026 will be held from 20-22 October 2026 at the prestigious Brisbane Showgrounds - Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane.

Parking

The venue offers 3 undercover parking facilities. We recommend The Royal International Convention Centre Car Park.

  • Access at 600 Gregory Terrace
  • 214 parking bays, including 2 disability bays
  • Secure undercover parking open 5 am-midnight, Monday-Sunday
  • 3-metre height clearance

Accepted payment methods include EFTPOS and Paywave. Payments can be made on exit.

Public Transport

Taxi/Rideshare

Black and White Cabs (ph. 13 32 22) are our preferred transport provider. Hail, call or book via the app.

There are taxi zones located on our doorstep, outside Rydges Hotel and Fat Dumpling on King Street.

Rideshare companies also operate in Brisbane and can be met at any specified location.

Train

Take advantage of Queensland's 50c public transport fares. Flat rate, any distance for buses, trains, ferries and trams. Bowen Hills and Fortitude Valley train stations are less than a 10 minute walk from the Brisbane Showgrounds. 

Bus

Take advantage of Queensland's 50c public transport fares. Flat rate, any distance for buses, trains, ferries and trams. Buses access the streets surrounding the Brisbane Showgrounds regularly. The main bus stops are located on Bowen Bridge Road outside The Old Museum and on St Pauls Terrace near King Street. You can also choose to ride the CityGlider buses, which provide high-frequency transport from West End to Teneriffe and Ashgrove to Stones Corner, while the free City Loop bus service is perfect for exploring the CBD.
